Bubble gum so soft and simple
So pretty, and so sweet.
When ripped away from her colored rapper
And set to grind between Life's teeth.
Is stretched and pulled alot of ways her sweetness is extracted.
When pulled too thin her goodness wains.
She's flavorless and rejected.
Is nice at first
Grows hard in time.
She's spit out then replaced.
Is ugly now, neither loved nor missed.
The world's teeth marks upon her face.
